Coast Counseling & Healing was built for clients who carry significant personal, professional, or leadership responsibilities that want a therapeutic space to match the level of intention they bring to the rest of their lives. Individuals who value privacy, depth, and a clear, structured path toward meaningful change.
As a result, I maintain a premium, private-pay model that allows me to offer a level of presence, preparation, and responsiveness that high‑responsibility clients consistently seek.
Whether you’re a first-gen professional, a caregiver or part of a community that’s often overlooked, you deserve support that sees you clearly.
You don’t have to keep bracing for impact. Let’s find what steadiness can feel like.

You’re the one others rely on. You manage the pressure, the expectations, the emotional labor. But lately, anxiety has been louder. Stress feels like it’s living in your body. And your relationships, personal or professional, feel strained, distant, or just off. You may experience:

In our work together, you’ll find a space that’s structured but never rigid and where your goals guide the process. I integrate culturally sensitive Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Psychodynamic Therapy with trauma-informed care to help you:

If you believe this level of work aligns with what you’re seeking, you’re welcome to request an appointment. I review each inquiry personally and offer openings to clients who are ready for this kind of therapeutic process.

Hi. I'm Tamara, a licensed psychotherapist and President of Coast Counseling & Healing, a wellness practice serving residents in Delaware and Florida.
Across my career, I’ve supported lawyers, physicians, business owners, educators, therapists and caregivers; people who carry a great deal, often quietly. Clients seek me out when they feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from the parts of themselves that once felt confident and creative. I help you slow down, understand your patterns, and develop practical, evidence‑based tools that support long‑term healing. I have seen remarkable transformations.
I often utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapies for professionals and individuals navigating mood disorders, anxiety, stress and complex life transitions. My work blends clinical rigor with deep empathy, helping clients build emotional resilience and reconnect with a grounded sense of self. My experience working in outpatient and community mental health clinics, as well as university counseling centers have no doubt contributed to my success.
I’m also passionate about advocacy, particularly for survivors of human trafficking. It has brought me great joy to support organizations that create awareness campaigns, educational materials, and supportive resources that center dignity and empowerment.
As an advocate, I enjoy creating psychoeducational resources, group experiences, and trauma‑responsive tools for diverse audiences. My approach is collaborative, strengths‑based, and rooted in the belief that healing is most sustainable when it honors identity, lived experience, and personal values.
Whether I’m writing clinical documentation, developing curriculum, or sitting with a client in session, my goal is the same:
to offer clarity, compassion, and a space where people feel seen, supported, and capable of meaningful change.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate upon request, explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
